ENERGY AWARENESS

E-Moves

From observing the spontaneous behaviors of clients and myself in the last two years, I've become aware of a remarkable repertoire of energy-based self-treatment behaviors that come naturally to us. They are energy interventions we do naturally to treat specific energy systems of the body. I'll mention a few of these E-MOVES to orient you. You may recognize some, and think of others that you do yourself when you're stressed or in pain.

E-MOVES

Point Treated

Hand(s) to upper chest-resting/rubbing/patting

Rubbing hands together; prayer position

Pressing/squeezing at bridge of nose

Doodling in a weaving pattern

Clasping hands or lacing fingers

Massaging temple area

Holding head between hands

Rubbing the collarbone area

Massaging "Karate Chop" side of hand

Holding/pressing palm to brow

Grasping chin

Hugging oneself
Heart, thymus gland

Palm energy centers/chakras

Bladder meridian

Celtic weave

Strange flows, palm chakras

Triple warmer/thyroid meridian

Mind-clearing using palm chakras

Kidney meridian

Small intestine meridian

Brow chakra

Central/conception meridian

Stimulates "Circuits of Joy," calms triple-warmer meridian
These are E-MOVES . To make your own natural energy-wise self-care gestures even more powerful and effective, just become aware of them, and choose to use them purposefully.
